If you haven't already discovered or been introduced to Teacher's Domain then take time to read all about it and then go and explore for yourself. This site will mean you don't have to reinvent the wheel and save you hours of time on searching the web.  The resources and lessons are freely available to either watch online or download.

Teachers' Domain is a free digital media service for educational use from public broadcasting and its partners. You’ll find thousands of media resources, support materials, and tools for classroom lessons, individualized learning programs, and teacher professional learning communities. 

Once you register (it's FREE) you will see the resources are well organised, and searchable by topic and grade level.  The filtering system is extremely helpful to find resources quickly.  The only downside is it uses American Grades rather than ages.  Remember by Grade 1 we are roughly two Year Levels ahead.
